She grips a long branch.
The branch slides into darkness.
Plastic rattles under gentle taps.
The ball lifts toward daylight.
A hollow echo follows each push.
The echo sounds funny loud.
A sleepy pig lifts its head.
Maya guides the ball out.
The ball drops onto soft straw.
She starts new play nearby.
Chickens cluck and scatter around.
The dustbin stays shiny outside.
The yard stayed still.
