Warm air touches his palm.
A dark hand shadow appears.
Dust motes drift in light.
The mother sits on the chair.
A shiny mug rests on it.
Air stays warm.
Quinn takes the wooden bird.
He holds it in the beam.
His fingers block the shape.
The bird shadow looks broken.
He sets the bird on a block.
The block stands on the sill.
His hand slides out of light.
The shadow turns clear and bright.
Quinn tips both hands together.
A small tent shape appears.
Both shadows sit together now.
The tent tip meets the block shadow.
