He arranges them as an idea ramp. Milo slides the ramp toward trunk. He climbs and touches one fruit. Juice sparkles under bright morning light. A second fruit drops suddenly down. It lands inside his basket. Birds chirp from nearby reeds. The air carries a sweet smell. Small ripples circle the pond edge. Lara walks nearby and hears thump. They share the fresh fruit together. The basket stays full beside water.
