Lena entered the quiet library after school. She planned to finish her science homework before dinner. She chose a wooden desk near a wide window. Sheets of paper rested beside her pencil case. A bright highlighter waited near her hand. She wondered if the chapter would take long. Outside, rain tapped softly on the glass. Lena started reading and marking important facts. A sudden sneeze from another desk shook the shelf. A tall book toppled and hit her bright highlighter. The marker rolled across the desk toward the window. It struck her papers and pushed them upward.

A warm gust from the ceiling fan caught the loose paper. The page glided above chairs and passed a row of shelves. Lena jumped up and followed the drifting sheet between tables. A rolling cart blocked her path for a moment. She stepped around it and reached the history section. The paper landed inside an open fairy tale book. A tiny illustration of a dragon covered the corner. The drawing matched her school art project topic exactly. She smiled, took the sheet, and closed the volume. Back at the desk, she finished marking facts with care. She placed a book on top.
