All week he counts birds.

A bright bird lands nearby.
A light feather falls down.
Wind lifts the notebook page.
The page drifts under bench.
Leo kneels on short grass.
His hand cannot reach far.
He spots the fallen feather.
He nudges the page out.
The page comes back slowly.
A small silver star sticks.
It glints on the feather.
Leo writes in his notebook.
The park turns quiet again.
The sky shows one early star.
Leo sat on the bench.
