Leo stands near the village station. The air is warm. An old clay flowerpot lies cracked. Dry soil circles the broken rim. A small puppy sniffs that soil. The puppy sneezes and soil jumps. Soft bits tickle Leo's shoe. He keeps still and watches closely. A slow train rests beside the platform. Doors stay open with low rumble. Two clowns start a funny act. Colorful flags signal a coming holiday. Steam puffs from the train stack. White mist hides the cracked pot. Leo tilts his head left. The mist drifts away again. A green bud swells inside the pot. The quiet bud stays bright.
