The sun is warm.
Milo walks home from school.
A tiny duckling peeps behind rocks.
Water glitters on its small feathers.
The ground ahead looks dry.
The duckling jumps yet cannot cross.
Milo kneels near the little bird.
He lifts one flat stone aside.
The stone is heavy and sticks.
He shifts grip and pushes again.
The stone moves a small gap.
The duckling slips through the gap.
The duckling runs faster toward water.
A larger duck steps from reeds.
The big bird is its parent.
Both ducks march to the pond.
Milo watches their small parade pass.
He stands and wipes dusty hands.
Ripples widen where the ducks swim.
The path stays quiet beside Milo.

太陽很溫暖。
米洛放學走在回家的路上。
一隻小鴨在石頭後面吱吱叫。
