Rosa steadied the guitar stand while Theo pushed the quay wall back onto its tray. Theo lifted the visitor guide and wedged it under the cabinet base, reducing the slope. The chain of objects rested, but a blue brochure from the gift-shop entrance fluttered off a nearby table, drifted across the faint incline, and slipped into the gap between two cases before either of them could react. A faint hum from the ceiling vent drifted toward the emptied corridor.
