Flora kneels beside the low shelf.

She lifts a flat block.

Flora listens.

Dust drifts.

Next she slides a wooden ring.

A dull tap follows.

"Here," the other child says.

A faint wheel mark sits under it.

She places the ring back.

A tall jar of toy money stands nearby.

The jar is heavy.

Flora grips the lid but it sticks.

She pushes a flat block under the jar edge.

The jar tilts and rolls aside.

A pale ring pattern shows on the mat.

She slides the jar back onto the ring.

A pink piggy bank sits on the shelf.

Flora pats the mat flat.

A blue top spins between their knees.
