Dry powder dots the ground.
"It is dry here," Remy says.
The shelf shadow blocks his view.
He lowers his head to see.
A low gap opens under the shelf.
At the back, dust lines the wood.
The strip stays dry and soft.
He turns to the wooden ring.
A thin dust ring sits on its rim.
He keeps his hands off.
On the ground, a small car rests.
A brave star sticker shines on its side.
A marble slips out and wobbles.
