Sparrow at the Desert Post-

English 原文
Luca, a young photographer, arrived at the quiet desert garden just after sunrise. He hoped to capture a clear picture of the swift sparrow that sometimes landed on the weathered post near the gate. The light was soft, yet glare from distant sand already shimmered. A tall cactus stood beside the post, its spines catching the early glow. Luca has practiced patience for weeks and carried tips that a friendly mentor had shared. Several test photos had been deleted during those mornings which had passed too quickly. Today, he adjusted the lens, tightened the strap, and waited with steady breath.
Sudden wings cut the air, but the bird flicked away before the shutter closed. Wind pushed fine dust against Luca’s face and balance shifted on the uneven stones. He stepped back, bumped the cactus, and a thin spine pricked his sleeve. Crouching lower to free the cloth, he noticed a small notch on the wooden post where a puddle of last night’s dew still glinted. The sparrow wheeled overhead, spotted the water, and dropped straight into the notch. Shade from the cactus blocked the glare, and Luca, now lower, had a perfect angle. The shutter clicked three times. The camera screen shimmered with the new image.
