Soft morning light filled the small garage.

Sam rolled the door and stepped inside. A long plank rested near paint cans and dusty rope. Sam planned an interesting project with the plank and rope. He bent down to start the work at once. His fingers reached to touch the plank, yet space stayed tight. He tugged hard on the plank. Two cans tipped and rolled across the floor.

A rolling can bumped a shelf; a dusty box dropped open. Small metal wheels rattled out and spun in a circle. Sam discovered small metal wheels spinning on the floor. He laughed and lifted them; they were a great help. He fixed the wheels under the plank with short nails. The new cart rolled smoothly past the open door. Outside, a breeze carried wood dust across the yard. Sam chased the cart and guided it onto the grass. The cart stopped beside a tall tree.
