The room is bright. Warm air moves inside. Lee is a journalist. Lee stands inside a small house. He holds a small recorder. He places it on a table. People talk in the corner. He listens for soft voices. A large lamp near the table hums. The hum covers every voice. Every word turns into buzz. Lee lowers his head.

Lee lifts the large lamp. The cord slips from the socket. The hum stops at once. Now the room stays quiet. A clock ticks nearby. A small kitten rests under it. The kitten lifts one paw. Its eyes blink at Lee. It then curls again. Lee presses the red button. The recorder stays on now.

部屋は明るい。暖かい空気が中を流れる。リーは新聞記者だ。リーは小さな家の中に立つ。彼は小さな録音機を持つ。テーブルの上にそれを置く。隅で人々が話す。彼は小さな声を聞こうと耳を澄ます。テーブルの近くの大きなランプがブーンと鳴る。音がすべての声をかき消す。言葉が全部ブーンという音になる。リーは頭を下げる。
