The Tangled Camera- 適合初級的英語短篇故事

Morning light filled the quiet forest clearing.

A young photographer walked slowly across damp ground. He looked for a famous deer near the tall trees. Leaves rustled when a squirrel jumped from one branch to another. He crouched and raised his camera for a better perspective. A loose vine caught the camera strap as he stood. The strap pulled tight, and the camera hung between roots. He tugged once, but the vine only twisted tighter. Leaves fell onto soil from the shaking vine.

A large vulture glided down and landed near the trapped camera. Its beak nudged the vine while it searched fallen leaves. The vine split, and the strap slipped free at last. The camera dropped gently into the photographer's waiting hands. He blinked, then noticed the famous deer behind a fern. The deer paused, lifted its head, and sniffed the air. The vulture flapped once and rose toward a distant branch. The photographer stepped back, steadied the lens, and pressed the shutter. Through the fresh perspective, leaves framed the calm animals together. One loose feather crossed the path.
