English 원문
Tess carried an empty clay jug to the greenhouse.
She wanted fresh water for the small lettuce plants.
A tall metal gate turned like a slow fan inside.
It opened, then closed, every eight heartbeats.
Soft warmth from lamps drifted across the moving bars.
Tess waited and watched the gate complete one full circle.
First, the left side hung open, then the right.
The rhythm stayed steady, like a quiet march around glass.
She counted again, stepped through during the short opening.
Her sleeve brushed a loose wire near the hinge.
The wire sparked, and a shelf beside the pipe shook.
A small wooden bison on the shelf tipped forward.
Its hooves knocked a row of pebbles onto the floor.
Pebbles rolled, touched the spinning gate, and slowed its turn.
Tess reached the fountain and filled her jug with water.
Behind her, the gate turned unevenly, scraping against metal.
She moved back toward the door, holding the cool jug.
A loose shingle scraped against the gutter above.
