A silver spoon flashes under light. Corbin stands inside the kitchen. He walks toward the sunlit window. Flour forms a wide field. Soap suds grow thin below. The dripping tap marks Spot one. Water spots block his shoes. He moves left around them. A fruit bowl waits at two. A towel with grass shapes hangs. Warm light covers the counter. A green plant sits nearby. Inez hums, "Morning, Corbin." Corbin nods and keeps walking. He turns and walks back. At Spot two he pauses. A small gray stone hides there. It rests between bright oranges. He steps to the dripping tap. A thin scratch lines the metal. Water catches inside the scratch. He reaches the door again. One gray stone now shines.
