Cloud Shade and the Garden Hose Splash -

English 원문
Cool soil pressed firmly on Yara's palms.
Grit stuck to her fingers and nails. She and Lena worked at a small garden bed. Yara wanted to prepare one long row for seeds. A hose lay in a loose coil near stones. A shallow tray of water rested near a small pot. A trowel lay beside a small bag of soil.
Sunlight flashed on the wet path and hit their eyes. A cloud slid over the sun, and shade fell. The cloud grew thin, and the bright patch came back. "The light comes and goes," Yara said. They watched one more change from dim to bright. The hose water smelled faintly of metal.
Shade crossed the bed again, and Yara moved fast. She pressed the trowel down and cut a row. She scooped soil and built a small mound. Her trowel handle bumped the loose hose by mistake. The coil slid forward and tapped a light plastic pot. The pot tipped into a shallow tray of water. Water splashed across the stones and dotted Lena's sleeve.
Sunlight returned, and the wet stones flashed again. Lena laughed and shook her arm dry. Yara slid the hose aside to stop more tipping. She pressed the row edges and shaped the mound. The cloud moved on, and bright light covered the bed. Yara set the trowel beside the neat mound.
