Milo walked toward the city cinema. He carried one shiny ticket tightly. His goal was a new adventure movie. Inside the wide lobby, thousand tiny bulbs spread gentle brightness. Warm popcorn steamed beside the counter. Milo hurried toward the main theater door. A spinning fan pushed cool air across the hall. The breeze caught his thin ticket at once. The paper drifted under a rolling poster stand. The stand bumped a tower of empty cups. Cups tumbled and scattered across the carpeted walkway.

Milo crouched, stacked the cups, and pulled the stand aside. He slid an arm forward and rescued the ticket. Sticky soda now covered the printed seat number. Reading the smudged digits became impossible. He stepped inside the theater and searched for space. A free chair waited near the back row. He sat and shook popcorn dust from his shoes. Lights dimmed, and a man with a camera took neighboring seat. The man thanked Milo for clearing the spilled cups. He introduced himself softly as the movie’s director. A tiny red light blinked on the camera lens. The screen glowed, and the room settled.
