Milo opened the club room after school and sighed. His goal was simple: finish the cleaning before dinner time. Soft dust floated in a beam of late light.

He rolled a small table aside to sweep the floor. The table had one advantage: wheels turned easily under gentle pressure. A hidden marble slipped free and raced across the tiles. The quick marble struck the bucket and tipped cold water. Water spread toward Milo, forming a long shiny line.

His broom stood ready, but touching water was a problem. He viewed keeping the room tidy as light duty today. He grabbed two dry books to build a narrow bridge. Step by step, he crossed and reached the noisy bucket. He lifted the handle; another task now waited for him. Inside, a small metal key clinked against the rim. The strange key during cleaning served as an extra lesson. He dried the floor, placed the key in his pocket. Evening bells rang; Milo switched off the light and left.
