It drifts toward a tall tree.
A small bird nest sits there.
The balloon rests on the nest.
Tim stands under the branch.
His arms stretch toward the balloon.
The branch stays just too high.
A bird hops beside the balloon.
The bird pecks the round skin.
The balloon starts a gentle bounce.
Air pushes it up once.
The next bounce leaves the nest.
The balloon floats down to Tim.
He grips the string again.
The yard grows quiet.
Tim stands with soft balloon.
The balloon stays still above.
