Ben carries a small basket. He walks toward the green hill. The sky is bright blue. The air is warm. A soft breeze moves lightly. Small birds hop near Ben. Their wings flap above grass. Many flowers color the short grass.

One pretty flower stands alone. Ben bends to pick it. A buzzing bee lands first. Ben freezes and steps back. The bee soon lifts away. Ben waits two short breaths. His fingers pick the stem. Yellow dust shakes from petals. He places it inside the basket. Ben walks down toward home. Evening light touches the hill. The basket rests beside the door.
