Crash on the Piano-

Story Content
English Original
Soft morning light rested on the kitchen table.
Lucas wanted to finish one tune on the piano. He could play before the milkman stopped at the gate. He sat, lifted the lid, and stretched his small fingers. Outside, birds sing over slow wheels on the road. A bottle clink shocked the cat near the bench. The cat jumped up and pressed random keys.
The sudden chords rang in equal bright bursts. Lucas slipped, nudged a full glass of milk. White liquid raced across the smooth wood floor. The cat refused to obey his waving hands. Milk reached the pedals and made them slide. Lucas grabbed a cloth and wiped the mess. The clean pedals shone, and the tune flowed clear. The road bell rang; the milkman rolled past smiling. Lucas closed the lid with calm keys in order. He placed two fresh bottles beside the door. Two fresh bottles stood beside the door.
Translation
