Drip, drip, water taps. Amos sits on the bench. Warm air rests around him. Grass smells fresh and sweet. Morning light paints bright spots. Another child waves, "Hi." The duck wings clap nearby. Cool drops spot his cheek. A squirrel darts along railing. A small milk crate tips. Dust puffs under the crate. It slides and bumps his shoe.

Three acorns fall and roll. They roll over bench edge. One gives a smart tap. It taps his shoulder softly. A toy seal drifts near. Light wind moves the toy. The seal kisses his knee. Water rings fade around it. The park holds soft quiet. The toy seal floats still.
