A drip falls from the roof.
Soft rings spread across water.
Light flashes on the wet bricks.
The fairness of sky slides over rings.
The air is cool.
A flat stone rests near centre.
Tiny mud bubbles hug its side.
A tall tree reflection sways.
Breeze passes.
A leaf drifts down.
It lands, spins, and sails away.
Ripples bump the stone.
The water strider darts across, then stops.
The small insect skates toward the gate gap.
The grown-up person in the doorway scrapes one boot.
The snail slides under the gate.
