Stone Stops the Sliding Page-

Story Content
English Original
Cool wet grass brushes Theo's toes. He stands beside the bench. Paloma sits on the step. A page slides near a puddle. Wind pushes the loose sheet. Wind blows. Paloma calls, "My page!" Theo steps forward. The sheet skids over smooth stone. His fingertips miss the corner. The wind lifts the paper again. It drifts toward the water. Theo drops a flat stone ahead. The page bumps the stone. Loose fibers surrender and settle.
Soft light fills the garden. Dew drops glitter on leaves. Small seedlings grow beside the path. Theo smooths the damp edge. The wind flips the page back. A hidden sketch appears. Lines make a tall castle. Beside it sit a small house. One tiny person waves from the door. A bird chirps over the quiet paper.
Translation
