Suddenly, she noticed a sign taped to a lamppost. The sign mentioned a new plan to improve park safety. Kindred volunteers gathered around her unexpectedly. Lily called her friends, who shared her excitement, to help. They have collected many discarded bottles and papers today. The friends arranged the items neatly in the recycle bin. A twist changed the day as the group smiled, then departed.
