Mia carried her small camera into the garden.

She wanted one clear photo of a bright butterfly.

A gentle breeze shook the wet grass under her shoes.

An orange butterfly began to hover above a bush near the pond.

Mia stepped closer and lifted the camera toward the insect.

The strap caught a low branch and pulled it downward.

The branch sprang upward with strength and flung two small plums.

One plum hit her paper cup and tipped it over.

Sweet liquid splashed onto the bench and dripped through the slats.

Ants marched across the wood while juice formed a sticky pattern.

Mia wiped the bench with tissue but the camera slipped away.

It landed on soft grass and stayed safe.

She knelt and noticed the fallen plums looked like wings.

Light reflected on them and made small dots shine.

She raised the camera again and captured the new shape.

The surprise shot gave her a broad smile.

At last she stood, packed her things, and walked home.
