The sun is bright. Maya carries three fruit juices. She walks to the garden table. A soft wind shakes the leaves. A napkin lifts and twirls upward. It bumps her small elbow. The juices slip from her hands.

One box rolls near a horse. The horse stands beside tall flowers. The box rests under its belly. Maya kneels beside the animal. She just reaches and grabs the box. Suddenly the horse flicks its tail. Maya blinks at the sudden movement. The tail pushes the other juices. They slide back to the blanket. Maya sets the three juices together. Light is pooled on the grass.
