The Tipping Tower- 適合初級的英語短篇故事

Milo set wooden blocks on the kitchen table after breakfast. He wanted a tall tower for his science picture. An old camera waited nearby to catch the memory on film. He placed a special blue block exactly at the center. A small card from the box carried one rule about balance. Milo pushed it aside; space on the table grew clear.

A fearless cat leaped onto the chair and sniffed the tower. The table shook; blocks tilted, similarly a red marble slipped free. The marble bumped the camera, and the shutter clicked by accident. A flash surprised the cat; paws darted across scattered pieces. Blocks slid, knocked the card, and the card spun under chair. Milo caught the rolling camera before it met the floor. He stacked fallen blocks sideways, making a bridge around the marble. The cat crouched inside the arch; its tail moved left then right. Milo pressed the button again; lights blinked and another photo formed. The camera rested on the table beside the new playful scene.
