English 원문
Zoe tightened her backpack and stepped onto the stone path that climbed the lower mountain. Wet bark smelled sharp beside the trail, and a woodpecker echoed between trunks. This trek had started at dawn. She wanted to photograph an old iron bell near the ridge before clouds returned. She has walked many shorter routes, yet hiking this high track felt new. After twenty minutes the slope grew steeper, and her right shoelace suddenly snapped. She knelt promptly, but the loose lace slid through wet eyelets and refused to hold. While she searched her pockets, a small cabin that rested beside a bend revealed a bright window. A waitress inside noticed her through the glass and lifted a coil of pale twine.
The door creaked open, and the twine slid across the sill without a word exchanged. Zoe wrapped the string around both shoe ends, crossed it twice, and pulled until the knot tightened. The simple fix held, so she thanked the silent cabin with a wave and continued upward. Rain started again, turning dust into slick ribbons. A narrow footbridge was hidden under ferns, and its boards wobbled with each step. To avoid slipping, she shifted onto a zigzag deer track that climbed beside thorn bushes. Extra minutes passed, yet she reached the ridge just as a gap formed in the cloud sheet. Sunlight touched the iron bell, and its surface shone like warm copper. She raised her camera; the shutter clicked while mist curled below.
