The Bird After the Branch- 適合初學者的英語短篇故事

Lily walks along the garden path. The air is cool. She steps past a wooden chair. A brown branch hangs over path. She looks up at the branch. Lily bends down under it. She moves on to a tall bush. Three blue flowers sway gently there.

Lily turns back toward the start. A yellow bird hops from bush. The bird begins to sing softly. She walks again by the chair. The chair now holds a blue feather. The low branch still hangs above. Lily steps under and reaches gate. A red leaf stays near.

麗莉沿著花園小路走。空氣涼爽。她走過一張木椅。棕色樹枝橫在小徑上方。她抬頭看那根樹枝。麗莉彎身從下面通過。她走向一叢高灌木。三朵藍花在那裡輕輕搖晃。

麗莉轉身往起點走。黃鳥從灌木跳出。小鳥輕輕唱歌。她再次經過那張椅子。椅子上現在多了一根藍羽毛。那根低垂的樹枝依舊掛著。麗莉鑽過去走到小門旁。一片紅葉停在她腳邊。
