English 원문
Oscar planted his left boot on the first plank, and the wood dipped under his weight before rebounding through the rope frame. He loosened his shoulders and embarked across the low bridge. Calmness lay over the shallow stream; only the bright chatter of water broke the quiet. A mallard drifted below, its body rising with each ripple. Oscar aimed for the far bank in a steady rhythm, letting his hips swing like a slow pendulum. The bridge replied with rolling sway, yet a faint quibble—no louder than a creak—came when his heel pressed the third plank. Ignoring the sound, he kept the same pace, palms sliding from sun-warmed hemp to the cooler shaded length. If he timed every step with the returning rise, the handrails would stay nearly level and his balance would hold.
Mid-span, a worn rope beneath one plank yielded two extra centimetres, sending a sharper dip along the span. The jolt shot through the handrail; the hemp line slapped a supply backpack tied to the anchor post, swinging it outward. The swinging bag struck a shovel that leaned nearby, and metal slid across the gritty stepping-stone toward the queue. A volunteer placed a boot heel ahead of the moving blade, stopping the chain before it reached the waiting feet. Feeling the rebounding sway, Oscar shifted his weight back for one beat, then advanced again but slower, ankles bending deeper and arms lower than before. The wider timing spread the waves apart, and the remaining planks rose and fell with smaller motion. He stepped onto the far stone, knees softly vibrating, and lifted a silent thumbs-up toward Finn who waited to start. Beneath the bridge, a spherical pebble his shoe had dislodged earlier kept rolling downstream between the tumbling ripples.
