The Bubble Disappears in the Tide Pool- 適合初學者的英語短篇故事

A foam bubble slides forward. Kit watches and starts following. Kit says, "Hello, bubble." The bubble races over wet sand. It reaches a tilted boat. Shells clink near the keel. Kit pauses at the boat. A folded chair blocks passage. Kit shifts the chair sideways. The legs scrape damp grit. The bubble rolls through the gap. Kit steps after the bubble.

Now the bubble enters rock gap. Cool air brushes his arm. A crab clicks in shadow. The bubble rests on tide pool. Water swirls and swallows it. Only circles mark the surface. A pebble drops; thought ripples outward. One circle shows improvement. It widens, then breaks, mistake. Night ink appears beneath water. The crab slides under rock.
