English 원문
A soft squish sound comes from the clay.
Farrah leans on the table edge.
Her thumb rests on the soft round piece.
A shallow pinch from earlier stays on its side.
A faint mineral smell sits near the board.
The aunt stands by the water cup.
Inside the cup, the water is cloudy.
Farrah reaches to pick up the small rope.
It sticks at one spot.
It sticks.
She slides a finger under the rope.
It lifts.
The rope bends in a curve.
She sets it nearer the clay block.
The space beside the block looks open.
Farrah moves it back by the edge.
A flat mark stays in the dust.
The aunt dips a fingertip in the cup.
She says, "The water is cool."
Farrah follows with her own finger.
Farrah smooths the round edge.
She pats it with the cloth.
The edge turns matte, with a tiny damp spot.
The aunt lifts one finished piece from the tray.
They watch the rough underside.
She sets it down a little aside.
Two pale outlines sit on the wood.
She slides it back onto the old outline.
A faint second ring still shows beside it.
Farrah walks past the drying tray.

Farrah
Farrah
Farrah
Farrah
Farrah
