A small boy walks along.
Green grass moves under sunlight.
He looks toward the pen.
A brown animal grazes inside.
He steps for a close look.
He opens the low gate.
At first everything stays quiet.
Sudden hoof stomp hits ground.
The sound is loud and sharp.
Grass dust rises around hooves.
The boy steps back quickly.
He crouches and stays still.
Leaves flutter, air grows calm.
The animal noses the gate.
Instead of leaving, it circles.
It stops right behind him.
The boy laughs softly.
The field stays quiet now.

一個小男孩沿著草地走。
