English Original
Milo, the rabbit’s owner, placed a small towel on the garden bench. His goal that morning was simple and clear. He wanted to finish grooming the family rabbit. The rabbit twitched its ears and sniffed the brush. Milo stroked its back softly and began to comb. Sunlight warmed his shoulders and brightened the white fur. The garden smelled of fresh grass after a short rain.
A sparrow landed nearby and startled the rabbit suddenly. The rabbit jumped forward and kicked the metal bowl. Water splashed across the bench, then dripped onto Milo’s shoes. The bowl rolled down the path and hit a bucket. The bucket tipped, and garden tools scattered over the grass. Milo chased the bowl first, then lifted the tools. He carried them back while the rabbit hopped in circles. Finally, he kneeled, placed his hand out, and waited. The rabbit paused, sniffed his fingers, and settled beside him. Milo gave a gentle pat and resumed the grooming. Clean fur shone under the sunlight, and water no longer dripped. The quiet garden held only slow breaths and warm air. Milo stood, placed the towel inside the basket, and smiled.
Translation
