A wooden stand sits outside.
The sun is bright today.
Air carries a warm smell.
Soft grass covers the ground.
A pink glad grows there.
A thick book lies below.
A small squirrel runs near.
Its nose twitches at scent.
The squirrel climbs the stand.
At first the wood wiggles.
The book starts to slide.
Pages flap and block space.
The squirrel slips and hangs.
It grips the side hard.
Back claws hook and climb.
The book drops on grass.
The stand stops shaking now.
The squirrel reaches the glad.
Flower dust coats its whiskers.
The garden stays still now.
