A faint draft lifts a chair napkin.
Its corner brushes Opal's knee.
A bead slides from the glass base.
Her hands discover a wet bead.
It touches her wrist and stays.
She slides two fingers onto the napkin.
The napkin is thin and smooth.
The bead rests there and grows.
