Mira holds a small gift. Birds chirp in soft rhythm. Bright sun warms the city park. She walks toward a tall tree. A low branch blocks her steps. She stops and looks up. Small ants move across the bark. Ants turn away from her shoe. She bends and slips under it. The gift shakes inside the box. Sudden wind flips the lid. A ribbon and coin fall out. Coin catches bright sun light. Silver flashes on green grass. Mira laughs, her face happy. She kneels and collects the coin. She tucks it back inside. The lid clicks and stays shut. She sits under the tree.
