The room is bright. Liam is a small child. He carries a fruit plate. A chair stands near him. He steps across the floor. A long broom blocks his path. The plate wobbles and tilts. Juice drips toward the ground. Liam freezes beside the broom. He whispers, "Oh no, broom." His foot shifts, fruit rocks. Sticky juice spots the floor.

Liam breathes in and out. He whispers, "Big idea now." He slides the broom sideways. The plate stays level again. A tiny marble rolls out. It glints under the table. Liam taps the chair seat. He places the fruit plate. He calls, "Share fruit?" Footsteps tap in the hall. Another child skips inside. They nibble sweet fruit together. Juice drips on the chair. The broom stays beside the door.
