Tray Twist- 適合初學者的英語短篇故事

Milo walks into the canteen. He carries a small tray. Steam rises from his fresh lunch. A long table waits near windows. Milo steps toward the clean surface. His shoe slips on wet tile. Juice from another tray drips. The bright spill blocks his path.

Milo swerves and slides left. A girl at the next table waves. Her plate shakes yet stays upright. She says, “Would you like to sit?” Milo nods, cheeks warm and eyes wide. He parks his tray beside hers. Both children taste crunchy apples first. One apple rolls onto the floor. The table is still, noise stopped.

米洛走進餐廳。

他端著一個小托盤。

熱氣從他的午餐升起。

一張長桌子在窗邊等著。

米洛走向那張乾淨的桌面。

他的鞋子在濕滑的地磚上一滑。

另一個托盤的果汁滴落。

明亮的濺灑擋住了他的路。

米洛向左急轉滑開。

她說：「你想坐嗎？」

桌子保持靜止，聲音停止。
