Lena stands near a wall. A small square hole waits. Lena bends and looks inside. Light falls on a kitchen. The air is cool. One white plate sits alone. A red apple rests there. Dust on glass blocks view. Lena rubs the rough glass. The scene becomes sharp again. She walks toward a tall fence. A narrow gap shows garden life. Ants circle a tasty shortbread. The shortbread is a treat. The shortbread rests on soil. Tiny birds hop for crumbs. Water sprays from hidden pipe. Ants scatter and birds flap. Lena steps back from gap. She reaches an open doorway. Warm light fills the room. Shelves hold rows of shortbread. One apple pie cools nearby. A polished plate stands beside. Steam rises and smells sweet. Lena looks but stays outside. Warm air stays inside the shop.
