The sun is warm.
Clean bubbles drift above grass.
The air smells like soap.
Each bubble is a round object.
Sam counts every bright circle.
Many circles burst too quickly.
Dirt specks ride the light air.
The grass is bright green.
Sam counts again, mouth moving faster.
Only soft pops answer the count.
One tiny ant walks under foam.
A last bubble hangs, then fades.
Close stones hold pale chalk lines.
Wind wipes the chalk slowly.
Near the gate, wet paw marks dry.
Sam watches the marks grow faint.
Sam stays still beside flat stone.
