A small treat sits unopened nearby.
Near the window, moss inside a jar dries.
Grey light from clouds cools the moss.
Its green patches turn pale brown.
Tiny water drops leave the stems.
Katia sees the fish again.
The paint now is dry dust.
Colour almost disappears from the shape.
Only a thin ghost line stays.
Quiet air hangs in the place.
Bare sand now lines the jar.
