I glance back at the oyster again.
Soft bubbles swim around its lip.
The gap widens, showing pale inside.
Nearby, a yellow duck decorates a bucket.
Sun rays slide over the painted beak.
Tiny drops sparkle on the paint.
Thin water streaks run down blue plastic.
The oyster rests, still half open.
Foam shifts gently around the shell.
