Clay Pot and the Moon Pebble-

English 原文
Cool mud presses under Tess's toes. A narrow stream flashes beside a flat rock. Tess spots a small clay pot. She lifts the pot. Water drips fast. She scoops a wet clay piece. She drops it inside. The water turns brown. A high laugh rings nearby. The older child calls, "Hi!" That bright sound sparks happiness.
Tess tilts the pot. Muddy water plops out. It stains a white pebble. The pebble looks like a tiny moon. Now the pot sits empty. Brown dots stay on the pebble. Tess kneels. She rinses the pebble. The dots lift away. She sets the clean pebble on the flat rock. A breeze flips a notebook page. It drifts toward the park path. Tess presses it under an acorn cap. The cap holds it. Cool mud presses under Tess's toes again.
