English 原文
"Blue thread here."
Bram bent over the cloth and slowly lifted the loose end a careful finger's height. The magnifying lamp arched above like an observatory dome, its circle warming the pad while his shoulders leaned closer. He set the stuffed rabbit in the circle, pressed the split ear together, and spread cool white glue along the seam. A small clamp with rubber jaws gripped, then wobbled on the curve, and he steadied it using both thumbs against the hinge. Across the table, a grandparent sorted buttons into a tin, while the parts box rattled softly when its balsa dividers shifted.
Beside it, a wicker basket from a vendor fair rested, and the gray cat on the waiting shelf tracked Bram's moving hands. He leaned, nudged the basket by mistake, and the blue thread slid, drawing a faint tremble through his index finger joint. The clamp gave a disgruntled creak, and he eased his arm back to keep vibration from traveling into the wet seam. Warm glue scent mixed with clean cotton and the faint damp note rising when a paint pot lid turned. A spring mechanism on the diagnosis pad pinged once, then lay still, and Bram kept his elbows braced against the table.
He tilted the lamp lower, and the thread's other end hid under the basket lip instead of inside the rabbit's ear. He slid the basket aside, found a blue scrap caught in its weave, touched the rabbit's nose, and found a whisker stump. If he had kept pressing the ear just then, the clamp would have slid again along the rubber. He let the clamp hold, pinched the blue thread, and measured a length against the nose with his knuckles anchoring fabric. At the painting corner, he dipped a toy ladle, touched water to his fingertips, and rolled the thread's tip until it tightened. Across the room, the tin swallowed a blue button with a soft click while steady hands kept sorting by size and shade. Bram set the whisker in place and pressed it gently with the rounded scissors' tips.
