English 原文
My hands press the rough rail.
Cool dew dots my skin.
A mild sun warms the wood.
Grass and earth smell close.
The grown-up kneels beside me.
"Good morning," they say.
A metal walker rests by the path.
A metal bucket tips sideways.
A thin trickle slides to the path.
I walk along the fence.
A party of chickens pecks.
Clucking pops in little bursts.
Fine dust lifts with pecks.
The light is soft.
I reach the open gate.
A muddy puddle spreads wide.
My shoe slips a little.
Pebbles line the dry edge.
I step on the pebbles.
I pass without a splash.
A goat kid bumps the post.
The hinge gives a small creak.
I sit on the flat stone.
Water in the bowl ripples.
The grown-up is pleased.
Their eyes crinkle at me.
They point.
"A goat kid."
I head back the same way.
By the gate, a green crab apple sits.
Small specks dot its skin.
Near the bowl, a thin snail trail shines.
It bends over the gray stone.
I reach the fence again.
The rail is drier now.
My palms rub; wood squeaks.
