Leo points at a narrow gap.

A soft cheep drifts down.
A small hatchling waddles to the edge.
A loose feather slips from its wing.
The feather floats toward Mia.
Suddenly, the feather lands on Mia's nose.
Mia blinks and laughs.

Leo lifts the light feather.
