English 原文
Mira tied her laces beside the dried stream at the foot of the mountain, pressed the strap of her camera against her shoulder, and embarked before sunrise. A faded row of stones climbed ahead, once part of a long-forgotten pilgrimage trail. Low clouds rubbed the slope, and wind hissed through stiff grass, yet she kept a slow, balanced rhythm, palms open for steadiness. Water grew scarce above the tree line; each sip from her bottle echoed against the hollow bottle wall. Patches of scree shifted under her boots, rolling downhill with metallic clicks. Now and then a single wildflower—pink, stubborn, alone—broke through the shale and flicked moisture from its petals as the breeze passed.
The path narrowed beside a gully where a plank bridge hung crooked between two mossy posts. Mira tested the first board with her heel; wood sagged, cracked, and left splinters on her boot. She drew back, searched the bank, then clambered onto a tilted boulder and pushed across the water in two quick hops. Pebbles sprayed the surface, rings widened, and the current carried bits of bark downstream. On the far side, the wind gathered strength and pushed her hood sideways, forcing her to angle her body until the flap settled. Loose gravel scraped under her soles, and one stone lodged behind her ankle; a pause, a shake, and it tumbled free.
A sudden break in the cloud revealed a pale shelf of rock above. There, caught in a wedge of sunlight, a cluster of blue petals shone like glass. She climbed the last incline, knees brushing coarse heather. A slab shifted under her weight; slate grated, slid, and exposed a rectangle of chiseled steps hidden beneath the soil. Dust puffed upward, and the unexpected staircase stretched toward a ledge she had not noticed moments earlier. The steps bore shallow grooves from countless feet, testimony to travelers whose reasons had long vanished. Mira steadied herself, traced one groove with her thumb, then crouched near the flower patch, careful not to press the fragile stalks.
She framed the blossom against the sudden geometry of stone, clicked twice, and let the camera hang. Wind rose, tossed her hair across the viewfinder, and scattered dry needles onto the newly exposed surface. Mist drifted above the quiet slope.
